Are you thrilled to witness the best attractions of Egypt? With a 3-hour drive from your hotel in Cairo, we begin our tour to the well-known Siwa Oasis, during which we get the opportunity to enjoy a stopover at El Alamein World War II Military Museum. The museum showcases major events of El Alamein Battle by exhibiting elements of the war such as canons, armored vehicles, soldier’s Holy Book, and more.
Continuing the trip, we visit the Siwa Oasis, enjoying a swim while admiring the breathtaking beauty of the well-known sunset, taking pictures of Siwa at Fatnas Island while sipping on the famous Siwa Tea. As the desert sun dips below the horizon, we shall check-in for an overnight stay at the Oasis hotel.
With an amazing drive, we start our day with the guide by visiting our first destination, The Mountain of the Dead. Touring around, we shall explore the well-known tombs of Si-Amun recognized to be the most beautiful one in the oasis of the Western desert, before proceeding to the Temple of the Oracle, famous for its great vestibule and forecourt.
Now is our chance to experience the excitement of an optional dune ride. Driving through the desert in a 4×4 vehicle, we shall proceed to the Siwa salt lakes for a wonderful swim admiring some of the beautiful sceneries in the land. Apart from its clean and brilliantly green waters, the Salt Lakes of Siwa attract visitors all year round for the health benefits offered due to the high salt concentration.
Then we shall drive to Cleopatra’s Spring for a pleasant swim dive in the waters. This natural spring water stone pool in the middle of the palm Oasis with an amazing view is also known as Cleopatra’s Bath or Cleopatra’s pool. Take advantage of this chance to admire the Oasis view with natural fresh fruit juice.
After savoring a delicious lunch with a mixed grill of the Oasis local meal at Abdo restaurant, driving through the Siwa desert we reach the Hot spring and Cold lakes to enjoy a memorable swim. Later, we shall enjoy a dune drive through the Siwa Great Sand Sea, watching the amazing Siwa sunset view. Here, we also have the opportunity to climb on the highest dune to enjoy the thrill of sandboarding before feasting on the Siwan tea and nuts.
For an overnight stay in the desert, we head to the Oasis Bedouin camp, welcoming us to a delicious BBQ dinner before settling in our tents late at night.
After a Siwa breakfast, we will be guided to Shali city. Built with karshef, a mixture of salt and clay, the traditional Siwan construction material, this ancient capital of the oasis is made with a unique technique in the world.
Before concluding the tour, we shall visit the Siwa Old Souq where we enjoy free time walking and shopping around the best places in the city.
As the trip concludes, we will drop you at Cairo.
